On current value monthly mortgage repayments would be over $1 million
The home of the president of the United States, which was designed by an Irishman, has been valued at almost $300 Million.
One of the most iconic buildings in the world, a firm of estate agents estimated the current value for the White House to be $294.9 million, NBC News reports.

The building was designed by Irish architect James Hoban and was built between 1792 and 1800.
Hoban, originally from Kilkenny, trained in Ireland before moving to Philadelphia where he established himself as an architect.
Since President Obama and his family moved into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue n January 2009, the value of the White House was increased by seven percent, according to Zillow.
The value of the palatial manner peaked at $299.9 million in July 2006.
The monthly mortgage payments for the home (including taxes, insurance, principal and interest) would be $1,130,832, if a potential buyer was to take out a standard 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage today.
