Seanmor, 'Irish people' refers to people from Ireland and not people with an Irish great granny.
Irish Americans, Black Irish Americans, Immigrants, Baby Boomers, Little Boys and Girls ... Lend Me Your Ears ?
When Mr. Higgins speaks of Ireland, does he mean the whole nation and all its parts or only the part of that nation over which he has jurisdiction. By reaching out the younger generation of emigrats, does he exclude the rest of us, and would he prefer that those of my generation who consider all of Ireland our homeland (agus a bhfuil Gaeilge measara maith againn)stay away from the Irish state?
