President Obama's Twitter marathon - Irish ask about immigration and hurling

The White house has 2.25 million followers on Twitter therefore it's not surprising that President Barack Obama answered a number of questions from followers. Some of the tweets that came flowing in were from Irish concerned with visas, the President's trip to Ireland and whether or not he has used that hurling stick Enda Kenny gave him at the beginning of the summer.

Jack Dorsey, Twitter Co-founder, executive chairman and moderator, clearly empathizes with various opinions on the Irish-American situation at present allowing numerous questions to be posted by Irish people.

The tweets include: "I'm an X-Ray Tech from Ireland Ive dreamed of living in USA Whats your position on immigration for those with professional careers? (sic)"

The topic of conversation intended to be centered on jobs and the economy has been focused on by Irish tweeters to include questions surrounding the issue of the working visa.

Other question’s by Irish tweeters have slightly swayed from the proposed topic to include whether or not Obama has played hurling on the lawns of The White House as of yet.

They tweeted "Did you enjoy your recent trip to Ireland and have you used your hurling stick on the White House lawns yet?"
