The Obama visit to Ireland now looks certain to be a one day event  after White House media were told they would be travelling on Sunday May 22nd to cover the story Irish Central has learned.

Irish authorities were hoping that Obama could arrive in early on the Sunday to spend the best part of two days in Ireland but that now looks unlikely.

He departs for London for a state visit on May 24th in the morning.

The fact that the press charter will not depart until Sunday indicates that the first day of coverage for the media will be Monday in Dublin after Obama arrives in.

The president will meet with Irish government leaders, travel to  the town of Moneygall in Offaly, his ancestral home, and will likely appear at an open air event in Croke Park on Monday night according to sources.

The White House has remained very tight-lipped about the trip and the Irish  government and US Ambassador Dan Rooney have lobbied hard to have the trip extended.

One day? How long to shear Eire? That's plenty of time. The country is going to be in lockdown mode from May 16th onward with the Queens visit through his visit which means you cant get in or out of the place and once this antichrist has finished shearing Eire it'll be up in flames with a nuclear bomb thrown into the works (brushfires and Sellafield) and just like the false prophet the Dalai Lama he'll tell you all "Things will get better" and just like the Dalai Lama he'll say as his flight departs out of the place "It was so EASY". It's understood both of them are very impressed with two abominations of desolation in Eire -the Michael Collins statue & the Garden of Remembrance. The statue looks like something out of the Pit and the garden showpiece looks like a dragon.
With all the unfavorable responses,we will see another revolution across the pond come Nov. 2012 !!
his stature continues to grow, and we all know how pleased the readers at this website will be to acknowledge that reality. How will they ever survive till re election day in 2012.
A giant and black - what an honor - a nobel prize knighted human is to grace the land of erin. King Henry VIII's pope, who has nothing to offer, will arrive in the same month. Blood suckers, heritage stealer parasites, a symbol of UK that makes a body puke.
No, send him someplace else. I'm goin' there. Arriving early friday AM. I know that's earlier than his arrival, but I'd rather he'd screw up someone else's finances.
