@halkued2 the GOP had the White House for 8 years, 6 of which they also had the House and Senate - and did NOTHING about immigration. John McCain has been an AZ Senator for over 150 years and has done nothing. Reagan was the one who not only gave amnesty, but he loosened up the enforcement of immigration laws on those who employ illegal immigrants. Who SHOULD the Irish-Americans vote for? Besides, most Irish-Americans are smart enough to know the GOP is anti-labor, is doing its best to destroy the middle class and doesn't give a flying eff about the poor. @antoman I doubt it very much.
