They did kill several that tried to cross, and even in Louisiana they were convicted a year ago, and were sent to Angola briefly then elsewhere for their own safety. Police and federal types patrolled the line between Metarie and New Orleans. Marshalls and other federal paramilitary's prevented any aid from coming into the city. Floatills of boats loaded with relief supplies were also prevented from entering the city by the feds. You really think that the school buses would be allowed to take people from New Orleans to another area. That was not going to happen. The local government was logistically shackled by outside controllers who wanted New Orleans to be a different city when the rebuild started. The rescue and control operation was deliberate. USCG helicopter pilots defied standing orders for the district, and went in and rescued stranded people, while other agency's remained outside the city itself preventing any movement or rescue operation. It was only after a period of time that the federal Agencies did allow aid in. Socialist tendencies. I have a few myself. Tell us about the jobs Trump has created. Katrina: The Governor of Lousiana and the Mayor of New Orleans, both Democrats,did nothing to help their people.They ignored the warnings and failed to evacuate. Over 200 school busses remained parked until they were rendered useless by the flood. They could have been used to shuttle citizens to safety. But,like sheep, they waited for the sheperd. The mayor and governor failed their citizens. The press blamed Bush. And you eat that up. I don't know what, if anything, Obama is hiding. But I am curious, as any American should be, how he got into Columbia and Harvard with no record to show for it. He has spent millions to keep these records sealed. Why? Romney has not released his Harvard or BYU transcripts. Have you yourself ever seen any president's transcripts? Where and when? Some employers, especially academic and government employers, require at least your most recent college transcript (each transcript lists previous degrees) as evidence that you have the degrees you claim to have, but student records are confidential as a matter of federal law. So that claim that Obama "sealed" his records is another lie. Without a release signed by the ex-student, no college or university can release records, and journalists, like most professionals, know that. So you're wrong, and if you check out the info, you'll realize that you're spreading false info.
