To begin with, I say, Go raibh míle maith agag to antUachtarán Higgins for calling CHRISTMAS by its proper name, CHRISTMAS. Thenhe continues, "..celebrate the things we rightly cherish". I'm afraid that there is at least one thing about the homeland that I rightly cherish: the reunification of the Irish nation. But I don't think Higgins approves of this "valid aspiration" as G.B.'s P.M. Wilson called in in the 1970s. Nollaig shona aobhainn don Uachtarán agus do mhuintir uile d'Éirinn.
