Ulster unionists/loyalists are a more persuasive minority on the island of Ireland than in the UK. But then I wonder if the southern Irish political establishment might resist such a large critical mass that might challenge their ideological hegemony 'doin soith.' White mansions indeed!

Was concerned that protestors weren't getting the subtext of EIIR's solemnity at the Garden of Remembrance. What part of her bowing to the honour of the men and women of 1916 did they have a problem with? She subsequently spoke of a partnership of equals between the two islands.

Typical of a traitor to think the peace process is valid in falsified rule books.............This traitor has brought shame on the Irish People by using opinions in law............It is a trained barrister and knows opinions in law are illegal but made no attempt to stop it.......It presided over the systematic fraud of Social Welfare Recipients to its own financial gain, committing treason and crimes against humanity.

That photo of Mary McAleese must be the offical one. Looks like Meryl Streep playing Dana the way it is lit and focused and airbrushed. I see she borrowed Donie Cassidy's wig for the photo op.

Who knows? All most people saw was a blur going through the country in a high security hurry. Apparently she bought a fish in Cork. Saw a horse's ass in Tipperary and was escorted around the Garden of Remembrance by a few more obsequious horse's asses. Then they all neighed at each other for a bit and apparently Britain and Ireland are bosom buddies now. Who'd have thought that 800 years of grief could be be wiped away by an old lady buying fish and appreciating a few horse's asses? All that money wasted on the Stormont Peace Process and the secret was hidden in horse's asses all the time.

An event she can be proud of, it was a major projection of Ireland's status and ability to interact. History will always be in place, and remembrance will be revered. The future is what Ireland deserves.
