All the articles about the gatherings of 2013 seem to be directed only toward those in the U.S. who have connections in the part of Ireland over which the Dáil has jurisdiction. Those of us who also have family lnks north of the Partition apparently are NOT wanted among the 'gathering' tourists of 2013. That seems to be very much the case for us folks a bhfuil Gaeilge mheasartha maith againn, nach ea?

I booked and looking forward to it. I was planning the trip before was working on a Group. They backed out and my hubby and I were going anyway. Now I'm ready. If it generates money into the county so be it.

An Cruinníu got its launch at none other than the Guinness Storehouse (that bastion of Irish drinking culture). That tells you folks all you need to know about it! LIkely the last opportunity to save Ireland from itself.

Da country???? What kind of language was that? Cro Magnon? Homo Erectus? Probably Ignoramus, predominant in Ireland these days among the lower uneducated classes.

Don't know why half da country can't see this as an opportunity to make a few Euro and our brothers, sisters, cousins, and the rest have a nice holiday.
