UNBELIEVABLE,WITH ALL WE KNOW ABOUT THE PEOPLE THESE STORIES ARE STILL BEING WRITTEN,these evil people are still crawling out from under their stones and children still being abused, there is something wrong that we cant put the checks and balances in place to prevent this evil.ALL PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH CHILDREN HAVE TO BE SCRUTINISED AND CHECKED MORE CLOSELY.
between boys and girls selling their wares on Donegal beaches what else is in store for that rockall close county?
Since the caretaken Ferry "continued to...repe teenaged boys", if any one of these boys were over the age of 18, wouldn't Fairy be a more appropriate name for this offender?
Obviously the agencies and boards are treating these situations far too lightly. It is a tragic thing for innocent youth to be left in such unsafe situations. Lack of coordination and focus, minimizing the significance of this harm and inadequate training seems evident. Where is the leadership? Who is ultimately responsible for this indifference? Inflicting such harm on youth has the potential to create a life of chronic alcoholism, despair and future abuse. The costs to the individual and society go on for decades. Wake Up elected officials!
Since Ferry was obviously violating the terms of his plea deal, why didn't the police arrest him? If HSE is known to be so disinterested in the rape of children, why did the Gardai stand by and let it continue for 5 years? That doesn't make any sense...unless they felt the same way...which would help explain why Bishops and Cardinals in the Catholic Church were allowed to help shield priests who raped boys and girls in their parishes, without punishment.
Irish people need to wake up. Rape and abuse of children in HSE care is always covered up and not passed to the Gardai whose job it is to deal with CRIMES. Why do Gardai hand over investigations to the HSE of rape and abuse? The HSE are not going to prosecute themselves, are they?
This is typical. The HSE have been ignoring police for as long as I know. HSE are a law onto themselves with common purpose graduates leading outside authority.
Hard to believe this could have happened. Time for all who assisted this man in retaining employment stand before the courts.
Anyone from Ireland will not be surprised by any of this especially in relation to sex offenders and HSE enablers.
