Police in Dublin are speaking to two suspects after the body of a man was discovered hidden in a wardrobe in an apartment on the north side of the city.

Police in Dublin are quizzing two suspects after the body of a man was discovered hidden in a wardrobe.

The gruesome discovery was made in a rented apartment on the north side of the city. Police raided the apartment after a tip-off that the body was there and about to be moved.

Officers searched several apartments in the same building before finally discovering the body.

The man, in his mid-50s, appeared to have been dead for some time according to reports. It is believed the man was originally from Cork and had been living in Dublin for some time.

A man in his 30s was arrested on Saturday afternoon and remains the chief suspect in the case. A woman is also helping police with their investigation.
