'Tipper offerer's' were probably trying to protect their identity from dodgey neighbours by being deliberately vague. There's some strange goings on in this country of ours in recent times. When I were a young lad growin' up in the far flung southern suburbs of Dublin, (out near the Wicklow mountains), a murder was a truly unusual event. Now we're a post modern highly developed industrialised society (ahem!). Thank God for - progess(?)

it would help the cops more if the "tip off" people would give them the apartment number as well - that way they wouldnt have to waste time searching half the building!!!
