I thought Thin lizzy was a rock band, Let the music be heard, I suppose that you can politicize music if you want, kind of petty. I am a right wing conservative and love Thin Lizzy, I loved them way back in high school some 30 years ago. I also like watching movies with socialist actors, i can even listen to a little barbara steisand. Music is music lighten up, you lefties want to control everything.
Galway where have you been living ? mars. Its still as big today as before his death. I use to go see him in the Baggot inn when he was starting out (oops there goes my age) No don't allow his music be used for Romney.
Phil was a lovely and polite man, despite his many problems and Dublin's favourite son. His mother Philomena a brave lady. My aunt employed him as a messenger boy when he was a teenager and was very very fond of him. For anyone interested, the exhibition in St. Stephens Green SC has now gone on a worldwide tour.
Where's the promised VIDEO? Someone steal it? Antoinette, if you're finished eating cake, that's a still not a video. Time to cut/burn a new disc - "The [Obama's] are back in [the White House]!" PS If anyone's back in town, there's an ongoing Phil Lynott photo exhibition on the top floor of Saint Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, beside Chef Chan's Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant.
Some politicians don't have any qualms about stealing people's work. Doubt they'd be too pleased if someone stole their stuff.
Where have you been for the last 20 years Galway living under a rock??
