As a non lawyer, I can't understand the following: 1)How can there be such high legal bill, when he represented himself? Does the court normally charge such high fees? 2) What will happen if he simply doesn't pay? In the U.S.A., he would likely be subject to a 10% garnisheement of wages, if he was still working. As he is retired, can the court actually seize his kid's trust funds? If so, the law must be changed in Ireland!
