Irish Central absolutely LOVES anything to the left, especially democrats and, of course, Irish Central is well known for its blatant and embarrassing love affair with anything relating to Christine Quinn. No balance to be found here folks.

The statistic that speaks loudest in this election is the gender gap. In Wisconsin, "The former Massachusetts governor is ahead among male voters 49% to 45% but trails the president among female voters 53% to 44%" (Rasmussen). As long as Ryan continues to babble on about "leadership style" and ignores the deep concerns he has raised for women voters, the gap between the Dem ticket and the GOP ticket continues to widen.

What polls is this author reading? "polls of likely voters released Wednesday show the Romney-Ryan ticket trailing President Obama by one point." The Gallup site has far different results: On Wednesday, the CNN 'Poll of Polls' had Obama at 48 percent and Romney at 45 percent. Another Wednesday poll shows that 55 percent of voters in Wisconsin believe Romney favors the rich. On Sept. 18, CNN ran this: "The NBC News/ Wall Street Journal survey found Obama at 50% and Romney at 45% among likely voters." Then yesterday's CNN poll had Obama at 48 percent, Romney at 44 percent. Virginia, Ohio, and Colorado have Romney trailing by even more. Michigan, where Romney was born, favors Obama by 52 percent, Romney by 44 percent. And in PA, "The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Pennsylvania shows Obama with 51% of the vote to Romney’s 39%." Ryan is probably hoping he will be a GOP star with a likely run for Pres in 2016, after Obama's two terms and after he has helped reduce the GOP to a rich white boys' club that enjoys waging culture wars against women, ethnic minorities, gays, and non-millionaires.

Frist of all I live close to where his mom lives, But can't afford the "THE VILLAGES" which in the next few years will be over 300, 00 families. They even built a charter school for the families of the seniors here. Also a family community.
Second I read in our Village Newspaper(WHICH IS A REPUBLICAN NEWSPAPER}
RYAN GETS MIXED REACTIONS DURING SPEECH AT AARP.

WAY TO GO, blackstone! Best laugh of the day and a superb example of Right Wing desperation as an election they could have had a shot at slips rapidly away. Ignoring his candidates latest gaffs, our boy cited the murder of a U.S. Ambassador where his candidate committed something very close to treason by condemning the President's firm, reasoned response (which included sending an aircraft carrier to the region) but REFUSED to distance himself from the racist film (produced by supporters of his?) which provoked the attacks! Then he cites the economy - the strongest reason for re-electing a president who pulled us back from the edge of a Bush-caused Depression and might have done more but for ADMITTED Republican obstructionism in Congress!! 'Good thing Rep. Ryan "admitted" it was going to be a rough race. (When was a presidential election last all but lost before the first debate was even held!?) This one was lost the moment Mitt, like John McCain before him, turned the whole campaign over to the extremist Right Wing with his vice presidential nomination rather than launching a serious campaign taking on the President and his party on areas where we Republicans can do what government SHOULD do better than the Democrats! After the debacle is over, the Right will once again be screaming that it was all the fault of a candidate not "pure" enough to their agenda - when they called all the disastrous tunes. It's time Moderate and actual LIBERAL Republicans stood up and TOOK BACK the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower and Ford!

Being a Republican, I wonder how many of the people here received emails urging them to be "freelance writers" and offering them the chance to go to websites and chat rooms to push the neocon, right wing message? I know I have received such emails (and others) so I suspect I wasn't singled out for special treatment. So when people post replies that seem to defy logic, maybe it is simply because times are hard and they need the extra cash. I would hate to think that so many people could be so ignorant and just dying to share their views with the rest of the world. Since all three elements of American government have been bought is it really so strange to think that people would be paid to try and sway public opinion?

I haven't voted in any election in the past 20 years because I had been disillusioned with both parties. Homever, since the nation is now 16 trillion dollars in debt, 23 million people are jobless and millions more underemployed, 11 millions aliens who ILLEGALLY entered the U.S. are, with few exceptions, allowed to stay here, and 200,000 of my fellow veterans are homeless, I registered to vote yesterday and I'm hoping that my action in the ballod box in Nov. will help push this great nation in the right direction once again. Support our troops, remember our veterans, and God bles America.

Let's look at how Romney is doing in Mass., where they know his governing style the best. Romney/Ryan is down by 28%. What do they know that the rest of the country doesn't? Obama/Biden 2012!!!

The only controversy at the moment is the assassination of Ambassador Stevens and co-workers in Libya and the Obama administration's denial of circumstances and lies leading up to the murders, as well as the continued gross incompetence regarding economic issues. Read The Washington Examiner's report if you want to know the real Obama. The U.S. is done with this fool.
Romney/Ryan !!!!!

"tis indeed a difficult time in the Presidential campaign. But I know Paul Ryan.He is my Congressman. I have been to his church, to meeitngs with him. Not only is he a sincere, honest and visionary man but he's also a genius when it comes to budgets, understanding economics and how these issues move or stagnate a nation. Wouldn't we want people in Business and a person in government who actually understands economics and finance at this time of crisis? If you answered yes, then Romeny/Ryan are the guys for the USA. They are indeed the Dream Team, in my mind, who can bring our nation back from the brink of disaster here at home and abroad. And I say this as the former President of the Illini Young Democrats and Committee member of the Democratic Party in Oak Park IL who is not involved in politics but in education and writing books with themes of faith,hope and love in Wisconsin.
