@cynicus thank god i am a presbyternian. None of that rubbish in our church or he would be dealt with. Hung, drawn and quartered from the nearest lamp post! No messing! Young lifes are being destroyed.
@cynicus how about changing churches? Since your Irish how about the Church of Ireland? Try them all and see which one you fancy. If any. Methodist, Church of Ireland, Bapist, Brethren, Plymouth Brethren, Presbyternian, Free Presbyternian, Jews religion, Muslim, etc. It like buying a pair of shoes if you dont like it try another pair. Yes its a Free country. If none take your fancy dont bother. Pray at home or even not at all. Let me know how you get on. Regards and best of luck. Allan, Tyrone.
IT seems that the priests and bishops are the church's one worst enemies, They seem intent on destroying the Catholic Church and at the same time blaming it on 'the media.' Such behaviour has destroyed the confidence of Catholics in even known and trusted priests. One does not wish to take a chance with any clergyman now; no one knows what goes on when the preaching and sermonising is over. It seems that the Church as a entity is being persecuted from within. And to think that the money-begging-hand was extended following such scandal-giving!! God help us all!! Let us hope that Jesus still ensures that 'the gates of hell will never prevail' against the Church - whether from within it or without! Me? I need some strong convincing at this stage. Maybe we should cut out the middle-man and deal directly with God. The pope is all at sea and is not giving proper Christian leadership. At least, that way we can be sure that we are not being led astray!
"Hey kids now for something completely different [or to some, "familiar" as the case may be] !"
The Gay Mafia in the Church Seminaries have almost ruined the Church already. This says more about the Church Hierarchy than the Priest himself. Send him to the Anglicams and he can become Bishop.
The comment about a tragic accident, aberration and right to private sexuality, is completely off. There is no room in the priesthood for this mentality whether dealing with prepubescant youths or children. How many seminarians have been exposed to meddling by their tutors, to go on to "other things" as adults, that lead to dreadful suffering. Be gone!
Pictures are worth a thousand words. This tells me that there is something wrong with the priest. As Malachi Martin has made plain in his writings, there is something gravely wrong with the "social justice" model of the Catholic Church. Socialism wishes to blend the church and politics. The "gay" priesthood has obviously made its move in league with the "devil and the deep blue sea".
I note the comment in the story - .............."The good name of the school is being tarnished with a matter that should be dealt with by the Church not through the media."..................Isnt this exactly the same attitude that led to the hiding of the endless molestation of children...........the church hierarchy hasn't changed a bit. They are "holy" like the Inquisiton was "holy" .................... As for the priest - let them marry and most of these problems will go away..............Of course we know what Benedict thinks about that one..
The priest, and I no longer use the term "father" unless I am sure the man is not a rapist, should be removed from the parish during the so-called investigation.
Armagh diocese still takes no action? Sean Brady's comments are outrageous and he should resign. Brady is an embarrassment to the faithful.
Order to all Bishops and higher clergy "Place heads FIRMLY in sand. Deny everything and demand proof. Remind everybody this is the Church approach now and we (don't) do things differently". God, will it ever end?
This seems like a tragic accident and aberration by this clergyman. He is entitled to his own sexuality and his own privacy around it. While the parents and teachers and child certainly need an apology and an explanation, and possibly spiritual counseling, dragging an individual and his personal life through public scrutiny does not seem the way to fix things. This "scandal" is yet another example of mismanagement by the church hierarchy.
Parents had no other option, they have a responsability to God to see their children are not scandalized, and minds contaminated by those supposedly guiding their spiritual lives. Hats off to them and to all who stand against this depravity.
God Bless Him........He bounced back from that "presentation" to put the squeeze on the flock! While I dont understand his fetish, as long as he doesn't involve kids in his little hobby who cares? Wasted Talent though, He would be a top Executive on Wall Street. He certainly has Brass ----!
