Eiriamach, When I sell my home I will not be assessed a 3.8% tax being collected for the "free" healthcare act, I will also not be assessed a $1 tax per banking transaction to pay for "free" healthcare. Romney would control the debt problem instead of the QE1,QE2, and proposed QE3. I would benefit by the expulsion of the racist attorney general Holder. I would have a budget proposed that at least some members of congress could vote for. I would have a president that is proud of success.

joanxis you are right you can find some things about Obam,in his book he says taht he drank and smoke pot through high school was generally non motivated, he admits to bulling a girl, he believed his grandmother was a typical white person paranoid, it is known he kick off his political career from Bill Ayers living room, it is known he was a follower of Reverend wrights church, It's known he like to play up his kenyan ancestry including it on his book cover as born in kenya, it is known he did cocaine, it is known when state senator he voted present 130 times, it is known he claims to be achicago white sox fan but when questioned about who his favorite player was growing up he could not come up with a singlr name. These are just of the top of my head and do not include the things people think he did.

It says Irish...from Ireland...if you are not an Irish citizen you are not Irish...not even a little bit..it's citizenship..obviously we are not voting in the US election so you Romney lovers..relax...chill....stop having verbal out loud nervous breakdowns and just vote...In Ireland honestly nobody cares who wins Romney or Obama...it's not important to us...it should not bother you that another country or ethnicity is politically different...Obama would not even be considered to the left here he would be centre right....you would consider our lefties commies....but thats ok ..i wish America all the best no matter who they choose or which ay they go i respect their choices..and i hope they respect ours...there is very little common ground for Americans and Irish people why should there be? We are foreign countries that don't (if we are being honest and get rid of the sentimentality ) matter much to each other any more. Ireland is just not important in the minds of Americans and America does not feature in the minds of Irish people..but we can be polite as we would to any foreign nation

As an Irish American I would never vote for Romney. He is so out of touch with what is happening in my life. At least Barack Obama and Teddy Kennedy tried to help us all get health insurance. It is a first step. The Health Bill was a life long struggle of Teddy Kennedy who for all his money, personal problems both public and private was still more in touch with the poor of this country than any other politician.
Our financial melt down both at home and world wide was not caused by Obama he inherited a huge mess. Even the most learned of the financial wizards can't come up with a solution. When you attempt to unravel the mess and understand it it's mind boggling and the average person cannot fathom what has gone wrong. It is much the same as WOMD-Weapons of Mass Destruction. Falsify some information, use some decades old reports, don't even make corrections to the misspellings and act upon such information. How easily Bush and Blair were fooled. Hey after all is said and done Obama had the guts to give the order to shoot BenLadin. Thank God we will not spend millions of dollars trying to figure out what to do with him, he is just gone. It takes courage to give that order and then to watch it unfold before you-Courage.
Do you think Romney could have given that order? Nah. Do you think Romney will pull us out of Afghanistan an faster than Obama? Nah. Do you think Romney understands being a few months behind on your electric bill? Nah. What role was Romney roaming around Olympic Village as? He is a nobody, an old governor and hopefully not even close to the presidency. What the hell was he there for anyway?
I for one have an affinity for Obama and he needs to remain in office, 4 years is not enough time to repair the mess left by Bush.

The Obama haters have not mentioned even one fact in support of their attitude. Nonetheless, they are SO emotional that I wonder what they'd motivates them! I'd like to believe that American voters do some reading about the candidates and some thinking before they go to the polls. So I challenge the Obama haters to tell us just ONE specific way your specific life will be better if Romney is elected, just one: will your paycheck or business bottom line have more money in it because you'll be paying less in taxes? Will your soldier son or daughter come home from Afghanistan because Romney will end the war? Will you get a Defense Dept. contract because Romney will have a huge defense budget? Will that Latino family that lives in your town and you suspect they're illegal be deported? Will you receive a $10,000 check for leasing your property to a gas company for fracking because Romney will remove all restrictions on drilling? Just ONE specific way your life will improve under a Romney presidency....

So hypocritical its nauseating.

Peterson - What you said is your opinion, which you are entitled to. How about some facts to back up your claim that Obama is a liar and is the worst pres. And facts about why Romney would be better?

this is disgusting tripe... who gives a eff what "the Irish" think about O' vs. Mitt??? Now if we're talking money contributed that begins to show on the radar... But can we first have a big slimy ruckus about just who is "Irish" and then chuck the mess down the slop hole? Of some interest would be how Irish Americans actually vote this fall, and how they actually vote R vs. D in election after election... I'd look for a steady shift and increase from D to R. Achieving, wising up, etc. People living in U.S. and Eire cannot possibly grasp each other's politics unless they live away from home long enough for home to change names. Just sayin'...
