LOL, colkelley and katiemac! I have NO idea why so many Irish people are so enamored with Obama. I wish you would have kept him! His policies are ruining this once great country!

Kind of hard not to watch obama on the tube, when all of the stations break their regular programming to put "the one" on. Just like the accountant who asks, "what do you want the figures to say"? Figures lie and liars figure...go figure.

So the mental retardation rate in Ireland is 1 in 4?

Only the simple-minded would try to turn a comment on a 'national broadcaster' into a slur on the Dublin Capital of the country where its main studios are based;alongside the High Courts,The Presidential Residence, Foreign Embassies,The Dail,Police Headquarters, main Transport Terminals,Blue-chip international companies,Google,Microsoft and many other industries which generate the main wealth of the country. The list goes on and on but, let's not forget the mighty GAA itself; whose headquarters are in ... yes, you've quessed it! ~ Dublin! - where in the last hundred years all the major battles for Irish freedom were fought!

You know now Creaky.Everything that is Irish is questionable when it's run from Dublin. We are damned lucky the extremely successful GAA clubs are run at a local level.I think that says it all when it comes to Dublin and it's questionable Irishmen/women.

The others were probably watching on Sky or the BBC as they are much more popular than the questionable 'national broadcaster'.
