What misdirected, whiney kids. Instead of looking for work or creating opportunities for them selves, they sit and whine that someone else is doing something and not giving anything to them. Boo hoo hoo! Everyone seems to want to avoid the 300lb gorilla in the room, the Community Redevelopement Act that actually caused the financial meltdown to begin with. I stead of addressing that, how about we will continue to pander to whiney losers.

The disgusting and immoral behavior is on the police,Peterson, although they wont show you police pepper spraying and beating up non violent women and men, cops working their way through a peaceful crowd bashing random protestors with their batons, Americans have every right and reason to be angry and demand change!

peterson Where you there? Or just watching FOX coverage again. Yes, mainly the young and college students are staying in the park overnight, however now there are just as many middle aged working class people attending the daily rallies. This demonstration is about Wall St. spending 5 billion dollars in the last 10 years to buy the deregulation that brought on the demise of the middle class. Both Dem's and Republicans are bought and sold; the problem is the "money" in our political system. The system is broken.

It's about time somebody changed the dialog from "It's all about me," like the Tea Partiers loved to whine (and KatieMac seems to agree with) to "This is about ALL of us! We are the 99%." But there will always be those who defend the thieves at the top, even though their own pockets have also been picked. After all, there were Jews who helped the Nazis thinking it would protect them. It didn't.

How we allow these brokers and bankers the power they have is incredible. They should all be in jail.

@mcdolan & Springfield9.Hang on second!!lol.I'm been taken up all wrong here.I'm all for the unemployed.Better to be comfortable when unemployed, then not.As stated Marie Antoinette did say "Let them eat cake"But the real meaning to that saying was she didn't realise that cake is made out of flour too. When the poor said they had no bread.

Delighted that Dublin is joining this global effort. As John Lennon advised, ... once they've got you violent they know how to handle you. The only thing they can't to handle is non-violence & humor. This is an honorable, peaceful and visible protest that highlights the plight of the working people. Our shoulders can only hold so much.

katiemac.. You are so wrong...Occupy Wall St is not a Republican thing, a Democrat thing, a liberal thing, or conservative thing. It’s regular people saying we will not stand quiet any longer while Wall St spends billions (5 Bill so far) to buy influence and deregulation in Washington (on both sides of the aisle) at the cost and demise of the middle class.
