Obviously these US citizens in Ireland have never heard of FATCA, FBAR, and the consequences of Obama's 2010 legislations for them...
In a few month's time, when their Irish banks contact them to close their retirement accounts and report them to the IRS, they will have a rude awakening.
It is mind boggling to me that so many US citizens abroad (AND dual IRish-US citizens!!) are still oblivious of the impacts of these legislations, which could mean confiscation of your life savings, significant stress, outrageous legal and tax specialist fees even for the simplest regularization procedure. I hope public awareness will happen soon, when it does we'll see if their opinion changes.

Obama is a disaster. Only a fool would give this fraud a dime.Stop living in fantasy land and look at his record. He had full control of the house and the senate for his first two years and did nothing !! And now he calls anyone who doesn't agree with his ridiculous policies obstructionist. The U S doesn't want socialism we leave that to Europe....and how's that working out for you all in Europe??? Not so good. Don't think we need any advise from Ireland in particular.

Now Briano you cannot go on repeating that tired old phrase "bumbler in chief" for the next four years. You need a new direction. Vote for integrity vote for Obama

katiemac - While I am not black and have not spoken to ALL black voters, the ones that I have spoken with say that they are voting for Obama because they feel his policies and those of the Democrates will benefit the country while those of Romney and the Republicans would hurt both the country and themselves. Notice that before Romney's speech to the Black organization, he had about 10% of the black vote but after he explained what he wanted to do, he lost those few that had been for him. Likewise he lost about a third of his tiny Latino support after telling their organization what he would do if elected. While blacks do not disparage Romney for his Anglo-Mexican heritage nor seek to classify him as "not American," this is done repeatedly by white GOP supporters in the case of Obama. Their whole European/Marxist/Communist/Nazi hate/attack line is an attempt to show that a black President could not possibly be one of us and must be opposed at all costs. We ALL see who the racists are!

What are you going to check IDs to make sure they are citizens or just keep the contribution aounts low so you can illegal fund-raise from foreign nationals?
Eschetic how sad that you, and you alone, play the race card. Most votes against Obama are not votes against his skin tone, but rather against his ideology. You must be confusing us with the preponderance of black voters who admit they voted for him solely based on skin color.

Poor BrianO! He's so blinded by his hatred of the U.S. having elected a black president (and being about to re-elect him based on a record we haven't seen since the Eisenhower Administration as far as moderate Republican inspired ideas and restoring RESPECT for the U.S. abroad rather than mere fear), he can't even celebrate the fact that Americans abroad want to help in the effort to offset the deep pockets Right Wing financing of his candidate and feel they are a part of the process beyond filing their Absentee Ballots (and hoping local Republican "officials" won't "lose" them). If Romney/Ryan COULD find 100 supporters abroad to support his cause HE'D be having a fund-raiser there too.

what news 100 people will attend and pay up for obama, really significant. A little grasping for straws to come up with a positive thing to say about the bumbler and chief.
