Keep up the good work. This guy got off on a technical ruling, only becuase at the time the courts and the police were inexperienced. In essence his defence was that as time had passed in some cases 14 years , he did not have access to his diaries. The illogicality of this is that he would have been unlikley to make an entry saying " abused X today". The police were convinced that he would plead guilty so in my view ( i know many of the victims so have first hand knowledge) they made too many assumptions. Gibney got away but the experience I believe has been what spurred our police onto handle this things much better and also our courts. Delay in bringing an accusation is no longer a bar to seeing justice. When you think of Gibney think monster, lock up your kids if he is in your state never mind you town.
Looks like pedophilia is an Irish tradition, no? Anyone like to throw some more brick-bats at the Catholic Church alone? How 'bout Portia666, the crystal worshipping new-age witch who's on a long run of rabid resentment against her favorite target?
WHERE IN Florida ??? Would like to interview him !!!! Will get back to you on this .
Sixteen years (1994-2010) have passed since Gibney left Ireland and reportadly settled in Florida. Why didn't the Irish authorities contact Florida Law Enforcement and request extradition???? Maybe this is a case of "good riddance to bad rubbish" , he is out of our hands now and is someone elses problem.
Truly one of the worst crimes against humanity.
These predators all have that same glazed look in their eyes, like they are not even here.
probably won't still be living freely in florida after all the Irish Americans read this article...well, hell, anyone for that matter....don't deport him, just bury him.
