Humanity has been give something that none of the creatures in creation have. That is the 'freedom of choice.' All other creatures follow what has been ordained for them automatically. Human beings if they are so inclined, can chose to have sex with other men, other women, dogs, sheep, cows, our sisters, our brothers, our mothers our fathers etc, etc. But our Creator has placed something within our souls that makes the majority of us stay away from such perversions. Today, the sexually-confused are trying very, very hard to make us accept their abnormal views on sexuality, because they know deep within their souls that what they're doing is wrong. There is a saying I heard as a child that applies here, "misery likes company." They hi-jacked the term "gay," which once meant 'to be merry, happy, and carefree.' They wanted us to believe that they were having so much fun committing perverted sex, that we would gladly join them in their merriment.
What effect would gay people being allowed to marry have on straight people? Eh none. how would sex between consenting adults of the same gender encourage siblings to have sex or encourage people to have sex with animals? Eh, it wouldnt. How would anything that gay people do remotely impact on anyone elses life? IT WOULD HAVE NO BEARING ON ANYONE ELSES LIFE. Cop on.

Think I will take Irish Centrals report with a pinch of salt since the group is based in England & includes Church of England Archbishop Nazir-Ali and many others
There have been polygamists and incestuous people since the beginning of time - LONG, LONG before there were any gay people talking about the right to marry. If all gay people disappeared, there would still be polygamists and incestuous people. "Marriage is a fundamental unit of society." How many legally married hetero couples have cheated on their spouses? A license and a religious ceremony doesn't guarantee a straight couple will be faithful and committed to each other forever. The divorce rate in the U.S. is about 50%. How many children are raised without a mother or father or both due to divorce, desertion, death, etc.? Just being "straight" doesn't make a person a fit parent. Many kids have grown up with alcoholic, drug-addicted, abusive, neglectful "straight" parents. There's the "ideal" and then there's reality. The success or failure of a heterosexual marriage isn't based on what any gay person does or doesn't do.
