Really, is this a surprise. As the scandal unfolds, my guess is that others will move away from the Norris candidacy.

Norris's sexuality is not the problem.it's his integrity one should question.

It shows the complete lack of honesty by Norris, when he had the chance on the Late Late Show to say "...and by the way, it was SIX letters I wrote, not just ONE!" Instead he was prepared to try and hide that fact. It may well be 'old' news, but it highlights the total dishonesty of Norris, and the agenda of the Irish Times who only made a comment on it AFTER the Blogger in London had released the information.

The Presidency is a ceremonial function. Why is he so desperate to fill a job that does nothing but cut ribbons (when the Tiger revives)? If he got in would that mean that every day is gay pride day for Ireland?
