  Clinton didn't have Guinness!!! he had Murphy's which many Stoutconnoisseurs consider a better one. It seems that Murphy's got the Publicans of the bar which normally serves Guinness to take a keg of Murphy's & serve it to Pres Clinton. I think it showed he was drinking Murphy's on the news reports..

  Can't believe the ignorance of some people posting. The Secret Service make all decisions in relation to the president's safety, including what he eats and drinks. Someone queried as to whether he brought his own food to the diner in Washington that he was pictured at. No, but I assure you that prior to his unannounced arival Secret Service agents were monitoring everything that was happening in that kitchen. A hospital in Dublin and whichever one is closest to Moneygall will also be provided with supplies of O'Bama's blood type, over which a SS agent will watch over until he is out of Irish air space.

  President Obama seemed like an honest Abe before he reached the White House. But once inside its hallowed walls, he allowed himself to be influenced and guided by the Ruling Class: Billionaire Barons on Wall Street; Power hungry Egotist at the Federal Reserve who steal the American Joe and Jane's dough to fill the coppers of their Greedy moronic buddies on Wall Street; Power hungry parasites who own the Military Industrial Complex and put their money in the God they trust, on the billions of American Dollars they have in the banks on Wall Street. I'd say President Obama is allowing the wealthy landowners (not all of them Americans) to sell American, the land of Liberty, down the Swannee River. Where once Hope reigned over everyone, where Truth stood tall, where Honour was virtue that lit the light Freedom, and where Justice was once a Birthright, now only the Greed and Avarice count, and Reality shows -with Egotists like Donald -the duck- Trump rule the land and fool the multitude. Amen!

  An honest drink for an honest President? Oh come on! Don't you read anythng at all about Chicago and Illinois? I live here! There's no such thing as honest politicans in Chicago - or in all of Illinois for that matter. Study up on our last 3 governors!! In jail or on their way! Nothing honest in this guy. People in this country laugh when they hear "politican from Chicago!". Remember the guy who went to the hate-filled black church? Remember the Mrs's comment about how, for the first time, she felt good about America? Pffttt...they are a joke.

  President Obama's visit to Ireland has give the country a lift, which has been so badly needed. The President drinks the Honest brand of beverages, especially Black Forest Berry, which is an Organic and Freetrade range of non-alcoholic drinks. I am sure Hayes's Bar in Moneygall will have a stock of Honest Beverages on their shelves to greet the President when he calls in, on his visit to his ancestral home.   I didn't vote for the man because of political differences. On the other hand, I can appreciate the difficult job of the secret service,especially when they get a communication from some nut saying the president will "Drink Guiness and Die" I don't think any of can blame them for doing their jobs, and there are plenty of good Irish American fellas willing to put them selves between the president and death, would you have one of them be an official 'taster?'

  We here in the States have long experienced Obama. You are not missing anything but misery. Let me assure you that if he was visiting a Muslim country he would sample there food and drink. My advice is for the Irish to be friendly, but lock up their wallets. Save your biggest emotions for waving goodbye when he leaves. He promised Americans “Change” and now we are lucky if we have any left in our pockets.

  When I was a student at Penn State, Guinness was the first stout I had ever had and was amazed by its rich flavor. However, since I have moved to Oregon, the stouts made by the microbreweries we have in Oregon have significantly topped my favorite list. It would be hard for me to go back to Guinness. I wish Ireland would start having microbreweries also... those beers are so incredibly tasty.

  Obama needs to FECK OFF!!! He's too damned good to associate with the American PEOPLE. His visit to Ireland is all about trying to raise his popularity. Refusing to drink the local Guinness is an example of how he looks down on 'commoners'. He wants to be a KING over a nation of serfs.
