MEATH The Irish Times - Wednesday, February 17, 2010 Ex-attorney general among objectors to Slane bypass near prehistoric sites FORMER ATTORNEY general John Rogers SC, who lives in the Boyne valley, will be among the objectors to plans by Meath County Council and the National Roads Authority (NRA) to build a bypass of Slane 500 metres from the Brú na Bóinne archaeological complex. http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/ireland/2010/0217/1224264628445.html This road will be even closer to the site of Williamites crossing the Boyne at Rossnaree where there was fierce fighting with Neil O’Neils dragoons Battle of the Boyne 1690.
No Tyrone, Monaghan, Fermanagh, Armagh, Down or Cavan in the News from Around the 20 Irish Counties.
I suggest you correct the city name to Londonderry/Derry on the map to reflect both traditions in Northern Ireland. Surely this site recognizes the Irish Unionist/Loyalist community - as to do otherwise would be discriminatory, disappointing, and, I'm sad to reflect, shameful.
I still think you're great ... and I look forward to each new edition! ... Aloha ... hawaiibobbee
nice map!!!!!!long live partition on irish central!!!!
Surely the death of a woman in Roscor, Belleek at 105 could have been included. Sure if there is a bit of rascality or noise Fermanagh makes the news but 102 gets Galway on
So where is the news form Tipperary??
