Niall, this clipping sweep of Irish newspapers is the specific thing that first drew me to Irish Central. In the last year it has bemoce spordic and often truncated. Please restore it it the level of coverage this issue presents.

The historical fact that the neo-provincial statelet of Ulster/Northern Ireland owes its existence to a threat of violence by unionists/loyalists against monarch/government they pledged allegience to set a precedent for violence. Originally meant to have been all 9 counties of Ulster, then only 4, and finally 6 to exclude Catholic counties of Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan. But if desiring to manufacture an artificial sectarian majority, why include 2 largely Catholic counties of Tyrone and Fermanagh.

Ireland is 26 counties, Northern Ireland UK 6 counties, two separate countries, two separate governments. Northern Ireland couuntries should be appropriately identiified as being in their correct country.
