FOX TV anchor Greg Kelly was stopped on the street by the woman who later claimed he raped here.
“I’ve seen you on TV. You’re so cute,” the woman told him, according to The New York Post.
“She stopped him,” the source said. “She told him she was star-struck.”
She gave him her number and the pair texted explicit messages for the next two days.
“The texts were explicit,” the source told The Post. “They were sexual.
They talked about what they wanted to do to each other.
“It was two days of foreplay.”

They arranged to meet and she lied to her boyfriend about what she was doing.
“She lied to the boyfriend to meet Greg that night. She said, ‘I’m going out with a girlfriend,’ ” said the source.
They had a couple of drinks but the bar tab revealed that the amount of drink taken was “laughably low” — and then went to the woman’s law firm.
They had sexual relations in her boss’s office.
Afterrwards “They continued to text,” the source said. “Part of it was about arranging another date.”
There were 17 text messages in all between the two.
“You don’t text your rapist — other than to say, ‘You’re awful,’” the source said.
But three months later the woman claimed Kelly had raped her and reported it to police. She claimed she was too drunk to resist his advances.
The District Attorney’s office is checking out every possibility.
“Did they leave together?” the source told the Post. “Did she use a swipe card? Did a guard see them? These are things you want to know. There’s a difference between being drunk and being physically helpless. Nobody had to carry her.”
“She’s very candid,” the source said.
The woman claims she got pregnant and had an abortion.
Her boyfriend, an older man who had a vasectomy, accused Kelly of destroying her life in an angry exchange with NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly, Greg’s father.
The key to the case, says the insider is “What drives someone who’s making a delayed report?”
Both Ray and Greg Kelly have close ties to the irish community in New York.
Kelly senior was Grand Marshal of the St.Patrick’s Parade while Greg Kelly was named to the Top Thirty Irish American Journalists

While I agree with "badolan" that Fox News is a less-than reputable "news" outfit, I don't think Fox or any other "news" company needed to twist this story to make their boy look less than evil. There is nothing any news outfit can do to make the young man appear to be very bright. He is guilty of a serious lapse in judgment or perhaps he's just terminally stupid. The woman involved has equally serious issues. Does she do this sort of thing often? (I'm referring to approaching strange men and starting up a sexting relationship, as even in my wildest young days, this would have been far outside anything I'd have considered.) This reminds me of the silly interactions of Wm Kennedy Smith and the young woman he met in a bar and took back to the Kennedy family's Floriday estate many years ago. The behavior of both of those young people was completely unacceptable, but since they were over 21, they didn't break any laws. It turned out that both young people were train wrecks waiting to happen. Guys, I don't care how pretty you are--or think you are. Strange women do no approach you on the street and swap text addresses. This is the kind of dream a boy in junior high school has, but by the time men are adults, they should know that this way is, at best, a thorny path. Normal women don't offer to jump your bones on the sidewalk and normal men don't find such behavior attractive. This pair deserve each other. They have done nothing to warrant news coverage.

PatriciaMarya, Your post rings true, except that he WAS taken in, by a gushing fan. As a never married guy, I sometimes fantasize about women approaching me, if I was famous. This sad tale proves that there can be perils. I would get to know the girl first, and try to assess where she was coming from. I guess that is why famous women almost never date admiring men! It should be said, though, that besides wanting to avoid pitfalls, the female "stars" look down on their admirers since they are 1) Not famous, and 2) likely not as well off financially, as they are.

Freud proposed a clinial condition known as "phantom pregnancy" to describe an intense and ardent desire for a male paramour. Could this be a case of phantom rape by an hysterical female with a floating uterous? "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Bill Shakespeare.

Greg Kelly didn't ruin thegirlfriend's life...she did. Now he's pissed at Kelly when the trollop of a girlfriend is the problem. Today, you can't have sex with strange women; it will only invite a rape charge.

Hay Badolan it's obvious you wear earmuffs when watching MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, HLN ETC. Thank God for FOX so we can get the rest of the story.

his father is 70 years old, he wont run for mayor. the next mayor is Christine Quinn, she let Bloomberg get away with illegal 3rd term. agree, he is guilty of being stupid only. at his age and never married, he has mommy commitment issues. why he didnt take her back to his own apt. is something Id like to know. unless some other woman comes forward and says he has a history of this, then he's home free.

Did Fox "News" they write this article? The are after all, the single most biased pseudo "news" outlet.
1314balesdr | Jan 29, 2012, 01:59 PM EST
It is obvious he is guilty. Of being STUPID!

It is the father they want to destroy, sully his name before he announces he will run for Mayor of NY. When he does, our overly zealous news media will constantly bait him for his son's indiscretion . Very sad that garbage like this is what gets headline news. A slut seduces a very naive man. She should be fired for having sex in her bosses office unless, she was already familiar with the boss and his office, she is also a liar and a bad one at that, it happened 3 months ago?

Greg, don't pay any attention to the remarks labeling you as stupid/naive. You da man, dude!

It's going to be interesting as hell how this all winds up
Porickseantuny | Jan 29, 2012, 12:18 PM EST
Now we know he's both naive and stupid. He knows he looks like a Kiwi.
slainte9 | Jan 29, 2012, 12:14 PM EST
Kelly is guilty of being stupid. If you work for Fox and your dad's police commissioner, avoid strange women who want to have sex with you.
PatriciaMarya | Jan 29, 2012, 12:10 PM EST
He is guilty only of making some bad choices, such as putting anything in writing before hand and getting taken by a strange set of circumstances such as - who goes to a law office to have a sexual liaison? The guy is single, perhaps he is lonely, who is not taken in by a gushing fan, but the set-up is too strange for words. And now the drink tab proves that she was not too drunk to remember what she was doing! Is she still working at this law firm? If I was her superior, I would have real problems with her use of the office as her "bedroom!" And the boyfriend is older with a vasectomy? This is beginning to be the outline of a Scott Therow novel - law firm employee, son of NYPD Commissioner who is on TV each morning...and the pay-off of a "sterile" boyfriend - too much to not be a strange sort of set-up.
