Gallagher caught out consorting with criminals, thats par for the course for him and his Fianna Fail mates
How can a self made millionaire earn 12,000.00 a year.Is this another joke about "Paddy the Irishman".There are people in this election who have given most of their working lives to public service and this so called sucessful businessman who earns 12,000.00 a year looks like he could be our next President. Its no wonder that the country is in such a state,we voted in Fainna Fail time after time and now it looks like Fianna Fail will once again fool the Electorate by sneaking Gallagher in the back door.God help us.
Mc Guinness always knew his chances were slim but the real test is the percentile vote Sinn Fein receive after the final count.Anything over 16% is a plus for the shinners. The big picture is how Sinn Fein will perform at the next general election.
Martin McGuinness for President!

the southern irish have a massive desire to hurt themselves for Jesus, suffering is in their blood. Unlike the Greeks who will fight for themselves the sheep of erin will embarrass themselves and their diaspora bros with a turkey, a totally unknown baldy pouter puss soul.
Not necessary in Ireland phinsman, the president has no power and can't scratch themself without first asking the government. I spent some time there in recent weeks in the midst of their election campaign and thought, what a waste of money on the office and the election
I live in the US and only consider voting for someone for president who has national governmental experience so they are truly aware of the process of making the country progress.
It's been such a 'scrape the bottom of the barrel' contest! Gallagher seems to have come out clean, relative to all the others. That must be cold comfort. But, wasn't that some stunt the bookies tried to pull with the alleged 'late money/early payout' for Higgins - all of $150,000!! Makes one proud to be Irish????
My voting card came Friday, tempted to toss into fire. It has been bad enough the last few years having to vote for politicians who were useless, helped bankers destroy our country, let business men and developers destroy families lives, gave us the highest unemployment numbers in years. Now they want us to vote for 7 jokers as head of our country. This election has fast become a huge joke, and I am so tempted not to vote, but that goes against the grain, Thank you to my (useless) goverment and the jokers entered in this race for forcing me to waste a valuable vote.
According to Gallagher himself he made 12 grand last year. Being a business man and the fact the Presidency offers a salary of over 200 grand. Its a no brainer that the only reason he is in the running is for personal monetary gain.
Gallagher the best of a bad lot
Notwithstanding any further revelations of murder, incest, questionable sexual proclivities, damning with faint praise (enda, innocent burst tyres(tires)being called attempted assassination, dodgy Den man loans, or even more air-brushed posters, we can safely say it is all over now - bar the Voting. ~ Time for the two foreign-born hope(less)fuls to scuttle back over the Border to lick their wounds and study the hard lessons learned. ~ As times are so hard, and the campaign so costly, lets hope we can persuade Dana to get a few bob for the petrol, by giving Martin a lift back home to the Bogside, where he can reflect on his mis-adventures and figure out how the people in a strange and foreign land, could reject him ~ after he has done so much for them!!
I'm an atheist, but if that phoney is elected President of Ireland, I think I'll have to look into the possibility of emigrating to Bhutan and becoming a Buddhist monk there.
@gobdawpaddy: FF have been stealing from Social Welfare Recipients for decades using opinions. Is leaving people to starve a better way of killing them or the bomb????????????????????????????????????????
