Hooray for the Irish Post. As children, we looked forward to Dad bringing home the IP every week on his way home from work, so we could look through it and read some stories from Ireland and look at the photographs. The Social page was always a subject of interest to see if we could spot anyone we knew at the various Irish events in London, usually held at places like the Hammersmith Irish Centre or the Galtymore. As we got older, the Irish post was eagerly awaited each week so that we could see what was going on at the various Irish pubs and clubs around town and what festivals were coming up, so we could plan our social diaries. The Irish Post was lifeline for the Irish in Britain. Perhaps, Niall, you could reserve some sort of corner on your excellent website for the Irish Post.
