Like the British Aerospace and Aerospatiale Francaise Concord supersonic jet liner - so fast, you arrive before you actually leave, albeit inside out. And if one can fly against the spin of the earth, does that mean you can actualy go back in time. Hmmm! Could use a bit of rejuvenation.

Why not NY to Shannon in 59 mins (ha,ha,ha!); why u suppose everyone wants to go to Duub Leen? Centralise everything there? No way, I use Aerphort na Sionna only.

Your knowledge of distances and the meaning of Mach numbers rivals your knowledge of religion at this site. Mach 6 would be over 4500 mph, not the 1300 your article gives us. Even if you know next to nothing about airspeed, a quick look at a grammar school globe should tell you the flight Dublin to NY cannot be made in an hour at the speed you cite.

Don't see this as being the transport for graniees and toddlers in their baby seats. Probably would have to wear compression suits too. Probably cost a million a flight, otherwise I'd try it.
