Hic! Good ole intoxication industry is at it again. I'm reminded of a cartoon teeshirt logo of a drunken chap years ago as a young man, wich juxtaposed the well known temperance movement cliche: "Work is the curse of the drinking classes." As a teetotaling (if not gun toting) Irishman, make mine a Ballygowan still water. Slante/good health!
Murph, can I tag along?
Any samples for testing?
Received a bottle of The Knot for Christmas. Since I am a fan of good sipping whiskey/ scotch I gave it a try last night. . Syrupy and. medicinal. Taste. Didn't enjoy.
I hope the writer is using "corn" as it is meant in Ireland, not maize as it is in the US. If the whiskey does contain maize, I believe the standard of identity in some countries will prohibit it being called Irish whiskey. When I visited Cooley's last September there were some fantastic whiskeys and I just missed (by 12) being the millioneth visitor.
