Received a bottle of The Knot for Christmas. Since I am a fan of good sipping whiskey/ scotch I gave it a try last night. . Syrupy and. medicinal. Taste. Didn't enjoy.

I hope the writer is using "corn" as it is meant in Ireland, not maize as it is in the US. If the whiskey does contain maize, I believe the standard of identity in some countries will prohibit it being called Irish whiskey. When I visited Cooley's last September there were some fantastic whiskeys and I just missed (by 12) being the millioneth visitor.
