The guy is a friend an coworker of Benedict at the CDF? The successor to the anything but holy Inquisition?!!!
If the Irish govt had any guts they would declare him persona non grata..................
Before he creates a second Inquisition.

I presume the Irish woman who gave him a life straight from Dun Laoghair to Roundwood wasn't called Mary. And her child called Jesus? And where was the father? In absentia like Joseph? Gee, it only goes to show how your religious master programming can really shape your life experiences. And that name Braun? Nothing to Eva and Adolf I hope. Well, I wish him well as Benny's rep. in old Ireland smoking out the heretics.

Best of luck, I have found them to be a slightly backward race, with a limited command of the english language, pronounciatian of 'th' proving very difficult for most. They have a very limited knowledge of the real world, but consider themselves experts on the 'texture' of a pint of Guinness. The natives are friendly and enjoy the craic. Stick to bars on the southside of Dublin and you should be able to understand the 'mucksavageese' diction.

Why is this 'know nothing' put in a position of importance like this? It only makes sense that the person assigned a new job know something about it!!! Are all these priestly appointments OJT ??

No wonder there is so much unrest, unhappiness and discord between all peoples when one reads the hatred spewed forth in response to IC articles...sometimes even within the editorial articles themselves. Isn't it time to put the anger away and start living and acting and speaking like the people of God once again??? Or have some of these responders taken up residence with the Devil himself instead of trusting in God and honoring the homeland of their ancestors? Those of you who spew forth such venom only keep the current difficulties going. Ireland is worth the effort for peace both within and without its borders.

He is in for a bit of a shock because the young people of Ireland will not bend the knee as quickly as their parents or grandparents, who were forced to do so by their school teachers who were hand in hand with the priests and bishops.
It will never be the same good catholic Ireland or "the land Of saints and scholars" as they liked to be known. The perverted priests who infiltrated the catholic church has made sure of that !!And the Bishops and gardai who turned a blind eye are equally just as guilty.

As a matter of historical relevance, I believe that there are grounds for considering that particular Papal Bull a forgery. As far as I know no copy of it survives, and there are questions as to whether it ever existed. But in any case don't blame the Pope. Notice with what enthusaism and alacrity the Irish chieftains pledged allegience to the invaders. Things haven't changed much in eight centuries.

It isn't even the Irish christian church. It was taken over by the Roman church around the eleventh century. The best thing catholic Irish people could do for their religion is to boot the Romans and revive their own church, at the same time getting rid of the degenerates. Thats if they want any chance of survival in Ireland at all.

The nuncio is a representative of the Holy See on the ground there. It is not that, in any sense, he is in control of the church in Ireland.
“It is the bishops of Ireland who are in control of the church in Ireland.”
Well then history needs to show truth 1172 Cashel Pope Adrian 1V gives land of Eire and all her people as slaves to the British crown to keep us highly spiritually Irish under control. Now it is our job to take that sovereignity back and not welcoming another man in a dress to shepherd over us. As Father Ted points out Irish women have the direct link to Creator and do not need priests.

Actually, what Archbishop Brown may learn, is that the Catholic Church was ahead of the curve on immigration to Ireland. The influx of Poles, Filipinos and Nigerians at Mass on Sunday was obvious early on & the Church made them very welcome.
