Blame Mayor Daley? How about putting the blame squarely where in belongs - the lack of parenting in the minority community. It was 3am under a viaduct; was Daley supposed to be there with a few cops walking people home??

I accuse Mayor Daley of Chicago with creating an atmosphere where criminals rule the streets and law-abiding citizens are unable to defend themselves!!!! What good does a firearm in your house do you when you are on the dangerous streets of Chicago??????????

This is very good news. The attack was a horror. May she continue to heal and eventually return to a normal life! Meanwhile, I wish her attackers nothing but a lifetime behind bars. Maybe *they* should be beaten routinely with bats or clubs, too, see how they like it.
