Natasha McShane’s alleged baseball-bat attacker has 13-page rap sheet

How many "bleeding hearts" are already lined up to make sure that he is given his rights while the young woman lies "all but dead". May God have mercy on her and all the liberals who have allowed him to do this.

Nothing is going to ever be "cleaned up" in these cesspools called cities simply because EVERYONE but the criminals and their lawyers have to "play by the rules." These dirtbags have been guests of the US' "revolving door" policy of our so-called "justice system." Citizens demand something "be done" about it, but then don't want the local authorities to exercise any kind of REAL "attitude adjusting" on these bottom feeding, scum suckers. I feel so badly for the McShane family, and hope and pray their daughter recovers fully. As for her attackers, someone just needs to do away with them. They're nothing but vicious, violent low lifes who will simply continue to live at a cost of thousands to taxpayers. Ridiculous.

Chicago has the longest serving Mayor in Chicago history (21 years ). His father was mayor for 20. Illinois/Chicago politics is corrupt. Sadly, these two attackers will be running free in 15 years.

That neighborhood is awful. They're trying hard to "clean" it up...but it's still too close to the Humbolt Park area. Usually suburban / out of state kids move to this area. It's the hip part of town and they don't know any better. These kids are clueless as to how awful the city is. I usually keep out of neighborhoods that have more currency exchanges than banks.

It's a dangerous world out there & especially so if you add to it fact that it was 2 young women out too late in the evening on the street. You just can't do that in any area anymore much less an urban one. It's a roll of the dice when you do. My son recently moved into a 1/2 million $$ condo in downtown Denver & he & his father stepped in through the front door carrying a large box. They shut the front door but didn't lock it, removed their shoes (new flooring) & climbed to the 3rd level. Putting the box down, they turned and walked back down the stairs & discovered their shoes were gone. We are talking less than a couple minutes someone came in behind them & if that person had climbed one more flight he would've had my son's wallet and car keys. It may seem like a little thing - only shoes...but it could have been much worse. The bottom line is...they didn't lock the door behind them and 'that fast' some stranger came in behind them in BROAD DAYLIGHT. I read where these girls lived in a 'very' popular neighborhood and hey...guess what it doesn't matter. For the price of a cab fare you'd still have your normal life. Parents...your kids will get sick of your harping about safety but you just can't stop. (Setup a taxi cab bank account.) If the worse thing that happens is a lost pair of shoes you will be very lucky. The policing agencies have their hands full so it is up to the parents to step up on this issue. P.S. The comment earlier wasn't too far off. Our borders are being poured over by a wave of illegals and who do you think they are - upstanding Mexican citizens? And where do you think they are headed...?

This is disgusting!!!!! For anyone to even think of doing this they should be locked up and NEVER let back out!!! Seriously this monster should have been behind bars a long time agobut not with this justice system this is the problem the system SUCKS!!!! More than not is there really ever JUSTICE!!! Most nice people that have maybe made a mistake always get the hardest punishment, but these violent monsters are always getting a little slap on the wrist and right back doing what they want and until we start making examples of real monsters like this and not someone whomaybe made a mistake this will keep happening!!! I hope they'll rot in jail forever and who ever the judge was that let him out should also be in jail and the prosecutor that made the deal.unleess the states all over america come up with the same law as arizona this wonderful country is done

Chances are they ( the perps) are illegial and not supposed to be in this country,whatever the reason, they should be kept off the streets permanently and put away for life. These are not human and I won't castigate animals by calling them that, they are the lowest of life. Prayers are with the victims.

I believe because of a really bad justice system here in Illinois is the reason these attacks took place. and it's not because she was Irish that she was attacked! If that was the case my dad and cousins which are from Ireland would have also been targeted long ago! the Guy is a piece of crap and should be fried along with his girlfriend! SouthSideIrish: Of course the City of Chicago can't be held legally liable, but they're still morally obliged to pay the medical bills. It was their negligence that allowed this thug to commit dozens of serious crimes, including three felonies, and still get little more than a slap on the wrist. Speaking of the Big Apple, I know a man who was mugged near Columbia University, and the City of New York took care of him very well and reimbursed him for everything he had lost. It's true that the man was a distinguished, elderly theologian, but NYC did help. If the girls had hit the thug with a baseball bat, you can bet your last dollar that the taxpayers would be covering the thug's medical bills. Chicago is the city whose mayor thinks the World Court should write and enforce U.S. gun laws. On another matter, anti-Irish prejudice in America disappeared with my grandfather's generation. Now nobody here even thinks about whether somebody's Irish/Italian/Polish except on some cultural holiday. Irish Americans are at the top of the economic ladder in the United States. Guarantee you that the thug doesn't even know what "Irish" means. And if you told him Ireland was a country, he couldn't find it on a map of the British Isles.

I would put the two of them under the jail. Prayers for the women and their families. Do these two monsters deserve to be allowed to breathe another breath? I say hell no. Send back to God and let Him deal with them.

I'll tell you this flat out. Our legal system SUCKS and I am retired with 25 yrs in law enforcement! These scum live better in jail/prison than they ever lived on the streets. I can't afford to feed my family the way these roaches eat! WE taxpayers pay for EVERYTHING for these low life scum. We pay for the police; the public defenders; the judges; their keep while in custody and then the Section 8 housing benefits their "loved ones" have. We then pay for the food stamps to feed the spew of these miscreants as well!
