Monster Irish parents abused children over period of 25 years

unbelievable,horror upon horror,how can things like this exist in this day and age,this is medieval backward behavior.surely even the most ill educated people know this behavior is totally evil and wrong,but you cant find uneducated priests, professional people,teachers,scout masters,they do it and they are educated,can people abused in such a fashion by the one people in the world they should expect unconditional love from,ever recover from such abuse?.and what about the people who knew but didn't report the abuse,surely they are guilty to.

I think that the parents should both be executed. In this day and age, everyone knows that behavior of this kind is criminal, and should be severely punished. Why did no one report it before? What of the two babies who are inbred and possibly damaged? It sickens me even to think of it.........

This type of abuse has been kept hidden by travellers in the same way that Child Abuse by pedophile priests was kept hidden for decades. They have been very secretive about it and travelers cover up a lot of what is wrong with their culture therefore the likes of this animal was able to carry on his vile acts on his family. It happens in the settled community from time to time as well but its only in recent years that travelers who have been abused are coming out and talking. Its abuse no matter who carries it out , Priests , Travellers, Settled people. Its Wrong !!

IrelandNorth: So you think that it is part of Travelers' "culture" to act in this fashion? I guess you would say the same about African migrants in Ireland carrying out female circumcision, or Paks giving their 12-year-old daughters away in marriage.

Mom helped and watched and got eight years? How does she not also qualify for a life sentence. And, for those of you who do not know, a "life sentence" in Ireland means he will not serve a real life sentence.

Those "monster Irish parents" are members of the Travelling community, which are a ethnic minority or sub culture of conventional Irish society. I fear that this is the proverial tip of the iceberg. They are descendent of those evicted by absentee English landlords. Traumatised.
