Did you know that Obama brought 493 people with him including 6 doctors? Good for Ireland's economy but bad for the U.S. because the money to pay for that was borrowed money from the Chinese. The U.S. is in debt over 12 billion dollars !! Obama has authorized the treasury to print more money. He is the one that said in one of his news conferences that"We (the U.S.) has to tighten our belts.
Were you there for JFK's visit Liamkeyes?
With all due respects, his visit does'nt even begin to compare with the 1963 visit of President John F. Kennedy, of course, they were the days before the internet, cell phones, I pods, instant replay' A different time, a different era so maybe it's not fair to compare but there you have it.
Funny how comments in all caps is a dead giveaway that it comes from a member of the lunatic fringe and is going to be completely idiotic.
WHAT BLARNEY!
IRISH PEOPLE HAVE GOT TO STOP KISSING OBAMANATIONS BIG BUTT HE IS HATED IN AMERICA - HE IS AN ANTI SEMETIC MUSLIM WHO HAS MADE THE MID EAST GO UP IN RIOTS AND FLAMES. HE STARTED THE PROBLEMS IN EGYPT AND NOW HAS LEFT THEM TO TWIST IN THE WIND- GROW UP IRISH PEOPLE AND SEE THIS GUY FOR WHAT HE IS - EVIL.
What a wonderful story! I have no doubt the President and Mrs. Obama were delighted with their welcome in Moneygall and I think this trip has put the small town on the map for tourists who probably would have bypassed it as they drive around the country. No doubt a few busses with change their routes to include Moneygall as well. This was a win/win!
Wonder if Tony might be a distant relation of President O'Bama? One of O'Bama's Irish ancestors was Fulmoth Donovan (?-1844).
