It hasn't exactly been the smoothest campaign roll out for Mitt Romney. This week his beleagured team suffered its third major spelling gaffe in a week, this time misspelling conservative titan Ronald Reagan's name as Ronald Regan.
A slideshow created by a Romney pollster showed the approval ratings for a series of US Presidents six months before the November elections.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Romney staffers hoped to demonstrate that President Barack Obama was 'on the bubble' with approval ratings hovering around 47 percent, a barometer of those who were re-elected and those who were voted out.
George W Bush was re-elected with 47 percent in 2004, but Gerald Ford was voted out with 47 percent in 1976.
Unfortunately for the Romney campaign they claimed that Ronald 'Regan' had 53 per cent approval ratings during his reelection campaign.
Twitter users immediately reigned fire on the latest gaffe.
Hapahaoleboy tweeted: 'Mitt Romney's new slogan: Let's take Amercia back to the time of Ronald Regan!'
PipsBadIdeas tweeted: 'If Romney is such a good businessman why can't he hire a staff that can spell?'
He concluded: 'Romney's campaign has thus far taught me that #Regan was president of #Amercia #proofreading'

Who cares? Barack Obama (weird-named individual that he is) can't even count the correct number of U.S. states, or pronounce the word 'corps' correctly. In other words, Antoinette, you're nitpicking at nothing because you're a liberal who's embittered that your boy Obama is falling fast. Here's what none other than the Washington Post (conservative rag that they are) says about Barack Obama, just today, June 11th: "It has been a Junius Horribilis for President Obama. Job growth has stalled, the Democrats have been humiliated in Wisconsin, the attorney general is facing a contempt-of-Congress citation, talks with Pakistan have broken down, Bill Clinton is contradicting Obama, Mitt Romney is outraising him, Democrats and Republicans alike are complaining about a “cascade” of national-security leaks from his administration, and he is now on record as saying that the “private sector is doing fine. Could it get any worse? Early Monday morning, Obama learned that it could. His aides delivered the news to him that his commerce secretary had been cited for a felony hit-and-run after allegedly crashing his car three times over the weekend. In one incident, the previously obscure Cabinet officer apparently rear-ended a Buick, spoke to the car’s occupants, then hit the vehicle again as he left." And you're squealing about Romney not spelling 'Reagan' right, Antoinette? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Yes, it's very sloppy, but I wonder what would've happened if an Obama staffer had made a spelling error. I'm more concerned about the political agendas of Obama & Romney than about one staffer who can't spell, didn't proofread, and is not running for office. Besides, I've seen a lot of people misspell words who are more highly paid than that staffer and who didn't proofread their work, either. Btw: How about some of the columnists who write for IC? Have you ever seen any spelling errors and lack of proofreading in their columns???
