I think they have Christie's odds far to low. Need I remind you all what Ann Coulter said... "if you don't run Chris Christie, Romney will get the nomination and we'll lose".

As a neutral Irishman who actually likes Obama I think that Romney would be more capable for the economy, with Obama more experienced on International Affairs.
So it depends on whether you want jobs and wages ( Romney) or to be more popular in the world ( Obama) .
That's my take on it, so if I needed a job or better wages I'd vote for Romney today.
So I'll plump for a Romney victory today - with Obama the favourite for a comeback in 2015.

I'd be putting my money on Bobby Jindal just edging out Joe Biden, but my party has proven they aren't that smart. If they WERE, Mitt wouldn't have been handed this year's nomination over the parade of mental midgets who were his competition and who would have not only lost but given the Democrats the House and Senate. If MITT were smart, he wouldn't have handed his campaign to these right wing losers. What I WOULD bet on: Hillary won't run, Obama will be elected to the Senate within four years of completing his second successful term, "W" has spoiled any chance for Jeb to be the decent president he should have been and Christie won't win one single presidential primary.

I hope that Bishop Romney ( Mitt is a Bishop of the Mormon "church", you know !?) will not use anymore of that spray-on tan-in-a-bottle that he has been using..it makes him look like a corpse made up by a student embalmer...vey phony looking, but,then...he is a phony glad-hander.

This is it for Mitt. Tomorrow he will have lost to Barack by 2.5% of the electorate. Mitt will not enter the race for 2016. He is toast after Nov. 6th. Barack, on the other hand, is the modern reincarnation of Honest Abe. The Republicans are the equivalent of the Old South. Their world is going to fade into the sands of time just like the rebel confederates. There is no better person than Barack Obama at this juncture in American history. And I am registered as a republican.

Let's hope, for the sake of our economy, it is a reelection. President Obama finally came out with his plan for the future and it is a repeat of the last four years. Four years of doubling the spending policies of the Bush Administration, White House staffed with Wall Street bigwigs and lower growth of the Gross Domestic Product. Personal Share of the national debt has gone from a bit over $29,000 in 2008 to a bit over $52,000 and growing by the second.

garbo55 - All not taking a paycheck says about someone is that they are ALREADY rich enough not to need the money to live. Do you think that only rich people should govern America?

garbo55 - Just curious, how do you explain that Magical Mitt the Mendacious of the Many Positions is behind Obama in Mass. (where they know Mittens BEST) by 28%? If they loved him soooo much that they would have re-elected him Gov., why don't they love him anymore? How fickle they must be! You might want to check your FACTS on the condition of the State when he left it. It was really not as great as you seem to think it was according to my friends there.

News for you eiriamach, had Romney ran for re-election in Mass. he would have won easily. For the first time in recent history Mass. was left with a balanced budget, which was decimated by Obummas buddy Dufus Patrick. Also while in office neither Romney nor Lt.Gov. Kerry Healy took a paycheck which says a lot about a person. The first thing Patrick did on day one as gov. was to spend 100,000 dollars on drapes for his office, that also says a lot about a person.

How many times has Romney won an election? Once! And he didn't run for re-election (he would have lost). How many times has he run for office? Four times too many. PaddyPower gave him too-generous odds. What should the Tea Party do with Romney? Same thing the original Tea Party did with that shipload of heavily taxed British tea--they dumped it in Boston harbor.

You have two articles about Paddy Powers. One article says they're already paying out on an Obama win. This one says Romney is their favourite, so which is it? Did you have both articles ready and forget to pull one of them?
