Well the DNC convention is over and I heard a lot of great music. So far none of the composers (or their mothers) have complained about the use of their creations by the Dems. I wonder what they are doing differently? Could it be that they simply asked permission before using someone else's stuff. How marxist, socialist, anti-capitalist is that? Or worse yet, they might have actually paid the artists ROYALITIES! Paying a fair price for a fair use - how unamerican. Ryan/Romney are horrified and worry that this kind of behavior might be catching.

Most of the world is in decline it's simple shrinking markets shrinking opportunities. Except of course Australia,Canada,Brazil,Norway and a few other countries where the economies are thriving, But then they did not have the GOP to Fu#k up the economy in the first place and had controls on their banks. It really doesn't matter Briano the GOP will be lucky to hold the house and will loose seats in the senate.Obama can then complete the American dream for the middle class.4 more years

U.S. falls from 5th place in world competiveness to 7th place, the fourth straight year of decline. HMMM.. 4 years of Obama rule, 4 years of global decline of the U.S., just a coincidence? I think not.

A Mitt Romney presidency would be awesome unless you're poor, gay, Mexican, a woman, or a dog.

Being against gays getting married does not make a person anti-gay. They can live together but the Bible says that a marriage is between a man and a woman and I believe what the Christian Bible says. I am not anti-gay --that is their personal choice -- so there !!

seanomelb, always a fan of your polemics. in case you missed it, here are a few lines from Preacher Strickland's speech Tuesday night. Ted really hit his stride. Reminded me of the other Ted.
“Mitt Romney, he lives by a different code. To him, American workers are just numbers on a spreadsheet. ”
“Barack Obama is betting on the American worker. Mitt Romney is betting on a Bermuda shell corporation.”
“Barack Obama saved the American auto industry. Mitt Romney saved on his taxes.”

@Kevin Kehoe, Please don't mis interpret my reference to heroin as a condemnation of Phil Lynott's music, I say that as a reminder to any world class artist to watch out for themselves. You would call me far right I'm sure, and I bought most of the Thin lizzy albums, and Phil's solo, they were great. I could spend all day talking music but I guess I'm not suppose to love it because of my political views. The funny thing is few on this sight know anything but their politacal view.

Seano, If the boys wanna fight you better let em, I'm heading down to Dino's, so all you that want to keep music to yourself should lighten up. later I might go dancing in the moonlight, cause it's got me in the spot light. I gotta go , it's two oclock in the morning and I'm on the streets tonight, disobeyed another warning I should have been in by ten. Mrs. Lynott I love you for not aborting Philip and allowing me to hear his great Rock music, to bad he killed himself on heroin, A real tragedy for music fans, time for a Jailbreak.
