Miley Cyrus' tour bus was in a fatal crash

Miley Cyrus’ tour bus was involved in a car crash Friday morning that left one person dead.

Teen star and Irish favorite Cyrus was not in the bus, reports say.

The driver of the tour bus died after the vehicle, which Cyrus usually travels in, veered off the road flipped over on a highway in Virginia. Nine other people were injured, with one serious enough that a person was transported to a local hospital.

Miley was on another bus that was part of a 4-vehicle caravan, but was not involved in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation. According to TMZ, officials are investigating whether the bus driver died before or after the crash, which would potentially explain why the bus veered off the highway.
