Yes Bogsidebunny, but enough of the Irish electorate want an individual like this representing them in parliament. Even the late Tony Gregory had the sense of decorum to wear a jacket when attending the dail, even if he still refused to wear a tie. Of course Jackie Healy Rae was forced to remove his signature cap when he was there, another yahoo representative of the Irish. But it is democracy and they are entitle to have whomever they wish represent them. Wonder if Dustin the Turkey might run for Mick's seat should he lose it.
Got news for all ye Americans and other civilised folks: This is the way this guy dresses ALL the time. His hair hasn't been touch by human hands for 35-years. AND, he goes to the Dáil chambers looking like that. To put it into prospective it would be like an American Senator or Congressperson attending a session on Capital hill dressed like a lunitic. Heck, even the liberal democrats wear suits and ties. No wonder the Irish are the biggest Culture for being the targets of "jokes"!
The poor soul looks like he needs a big bowl of porridge and prunes.
Is he ex Rolling Stones or Village People ?
I hope they go easy on the poor man because he can't even afford a hair cut or a shave.
