@ Searlit - it was 6 months x 25 offenses = 12.5 years. "The Judge imposed a six-month sentence for EACH of 25 sample theft charges." The other sentence on the passport issue runs concurrently with the 12.5 years. With good behaviour he'll be out in 9.25 years - but he should have got much more. He'll Never get welfare again.

Only six months in jail for that? Then he'll be eligible for some other kind of state aid? That gives incentivefor other crooks to do the same.
