A Derry man is pleading not guilty to allegations that he committed a lewd act with a horse in a riding school’s field.
According to reports in the Irish Independent, Robert McLaughlin (64) from Maghera, Derry, is accused of engaging in indecent behavior with a horse.
The exact act was not specified but it had previously been mentioned in court as an act that was lewd and criminal.
Now council members of the riding school in Derry are considering a legal request to have a field inspected by the defendant in order to support his case.
McLaughlin denies the accusations, alleged to have taken place on the 11th May 2011. He is currently on bail awaiting trial.

Was the horse in the photo above the victim of this random act of beastality? Is it a stallion or a mare? Is it above the age of consent? And since we're reminded yet again that the offence took place in another jusridiction, was the horse a Catholic or a Protestant? An Irish Catholic/ nationalist/republican or a Northern Irish Protestant British nationalist/unionist/loyalist? Could be a along time unravelling this pas-de-deux. And with intra-national implications too!

What would ever make him think his "winker"was as big as a horses'? What a joke, instead of putting him in jail they should have taken him to a shrink.

Fastest, not Irish! He's in Northern Ireland, not Ireland. Two different countries.
