Hi, Patricia. The first criterion to be met to be a member of the Church is to recognize that one is a sinner and fallen short of the glory of God. The only exception was Jesus, who never sinned, but still gave his life, taking the fall for us sinners. Sister hennessy is obeying Jesus who said, "I was in prison, and ye came unto me..." (Matthew 25) and let's remember that Jesus also said "What you do for the least of the brethren, you do unto me."
Let's not underestimate what Jesus can do in the lives of prisoners and ex-cons. Blessings!

When is the church with their victims. They seem to prefer the company of sinners.
