The radio star caught playing with himself on an Aer Lingus flight will return to the Irish airwaves on Monday.

Cork based 96FM shock jock Neil Prendeville will resume his $200,000 job months after his lewd sex-act controversy.

Prendeville made his return to the station on Friday when he was interviewed about the story by PJ Coogan, his replacement since he was suspended last November.

The Irish Independent reports that station bosses announces Prendeville’s return to staff on Thursday and pleaded with them to support the presenter on his return to work.

The 49-year-old hasn’t worked since it was alleged that he exposed himself and then masturbated on an Aer Lingus flight from London to Cork on October 19.

The father-of-two will not face charges over the incident and has insisted that he has no recollection of what happened on the plane after he had consumed a cocktail of painkillers and alcohol.

Prendeville, who has claimed he felt suicidal after the controversy, has vehemently denied that he had taken illegal drugs.

The Independent reports that 96FM Radio boss Kieran McGeary urged staff to support Prendeville’s return as he had been:  “An integral part of the station for years.  He has suffered enough and it is now time to focus on the future.”

Prendeville, who earns $200,000 a year from the Cork station, is expected to apologize to colleagues before he returns to the air.

Being Irish, I wake up every morning with let's my soldier at full attention, and my soldier is impressive. When I visit my daughter, and sleep over, I wear blue jean shorts to bed. In order not to be embarrassed in the morning. The Airline use blankets to cover sleeping passenagers.
"De minimis non curat lex." The law does not concern itself with little things!
Being Irish, I'm sure Prendeville didn't have much to play with.
