pacifist..Seriously..You can't get HIV/AIDS unless it's transmitted by an infected person with HIV. It's strange you should not believe that. Also anal cancer cannot be caused by anal sex. Aids is a virus.Cancer is not a virus it is caused by a group of cells displaying uncontrolled growth. Pacifist you won't find one person in the medical profession who would agree with ya. The sex act or infected blood is the most likely way of contracting HIV,because it is a very delicate virus and doesn't survive long outside the body. Pacifist I can't remember what you posted but it wasn't very nice.It was homophobic. The thing is you are wrong or you were misinformed in your claims. Sexually activity is perfectly natural in the homosexual mode of life.If they have sex with 1000 uninfected partners,it's impossible to get HIV,It's just not possible if the virus is not there. As for getting Anal Cancer from anal sex..That's like saying masturbation causes blindness. Come on Pacifist..Do some research,it's disheartening to think you would post such a thing.

God created Adam, then a donkey, then Eve. Read your Bible before you comment on it Gwen.

Oh, get over it all of you! If gays and lesbians want to suffer the "joys" of marriage, let them.

Yahweh/God and other mythical beings did not define marriage. If people want to marry let them, irregardless of gender!

pacifist..Wrong...anal and oral sex do not lead to HIV/AIDS or anal cancer.Unless HIV/AIDS is present..Surely you know that pacifist?..Surprised you are homophobic and prejudiced against homosexual people. Not very understanding and peaceful is it?

Yes, the church has a right to refuse to perform gay marriage, its in their canon law. and that we know from experience in Ireland is higher than the law of the land. Ask the bishop, he is the sole authority, and there not refute him. that is a sacrilage you know.

I think the majority of the people in the poll and generally Irish people can clearly see the unfairness of the present situation. Of course gay people should marry. If the Catholic Church does not want to allow them to marry on their premises, that's fine. But Marriage is a legal state, and all consenting adults should be allowed to have a civil union that is marriage. It has nothing to do with Yahweh or God.

Much higher approval rating than we find in the US. Then again, we also have The Creation Museum in Kentucky.
