Belfast deserves special recoznition for having built such a great ship as the Titanic - in the early part of the last century, when Ireland was still a single political entity. I don't know what percentage of the Titanic builders were Nationalists, but an Editorial in "The New York Times" in the early '80s emphasized the small number of Catholics who were then employed in the Belfast shipyards. As I recall, only 400 Catholics were anong the 5,000 workers there.
