All the typical Kennedy bashers are out in great form. The Kennedy's like all families, have their saints and sinners and their lives should be judged "as full books" and not just a page within the book. Did you guys forget Joe Jr. who died during WW2 when he volunteered to fly a dangerous mission or Robert an ethical man of great character? All the Kennedy's could have sat back and lived off there riches, but most chose to make the world a better place. And finally, it was the Kennedy family of Boston, who broke though the cultural and economic glass ceiling that previously had kept every Irish man and women out. I've not forgotten that.

Ireland should reject her --- abortionist, baby killer. Stands for absolutely nothing.

She's a sweetheart and loved by all but she proved she cannot handle anything more in her life if it goes beyond her home and family. That was proven when she ran for Senator and it was totally an embarrassment. BTW, let's keep the Kennedys out of politics, they've ruined enough of this country and still get away with bad things (hate to mention them all).

Caroline will always be the "sweetheart of Sigma Pi". The Kennedy clan lobbied for her to be U.S. Senator. Obama could not stomach that. He wanted another "radical thespian" like Gilli-Brand. Kathleen Parker wrote yesterday in the Washington Post about "Amazon Divas" who believe that they can be U.S. Marines. Caroline would have made a fine U.S. Senator just because she "keeps the home fires burning".

It's always amusing to assume that Jacqueline Kennedy O had an old flame like Sir Hugh but the word "probably" has no place in journalism. O'Shea should really check it out before he writes it. As for Caroline's senate bid, the governor wisely appointed Kristen Gillibrand to the temporary senate seat.

I'd like to see former Sen. Olympia
J. Snowe as ambassador to Canada and Ms. Kennedy as
ambassador to Ireland.
