Apparently Algerian military ordered their helicopter pilots to open fire on escaping kidnappers with hostages with th eorder to fire on anything that moves (British cable Sky TV). US drones identified movements. One Irish citizen from Belfast and others were somehow released, but others shot dead in a seemingly gung-ho exercise.
