What do we know about Romney's tax plans? Nothing. What do we know about his own taxes? Nothing. What do we know about his position as a Bishop of the Mormon Church? Nothing. What do we know about his core values? Nothing. What do we know about his foreign policy goals? Nothing. (Also I am sick of the unthinking asshats who consider themselves and their candidates 'real Americans' and everyone else an illegal immigrant, to them I say take a hike, esp on November 7).

One question was " when did you know who you were going to vote for" among the choices was "other" with an explanation, I Checked that box, wrote my reason, guess what it would not accept it ..I did choose another answer. My real answer is, Four Years Ago! We must get a new administration in the government before our country is completely destroyed.

Okay...I see how this 'poll' is being conducted. It's on IC's home page, and lets people say they're eligible to vote in the USA with no way to verify it, and lets them tell you which party if any they belong to -- again, with no way to verify that. Not very scientific, with certainly a potential for not being very accurate. A scientific poll will sample voters based on party affiliation (information they have, beforehand), from voter rolls (which prove the person's an eligible voter). Oh...and just to see what would happen, I just walked across the hallway and went to IC on another computer -- sure enough, it would have let me take the same poll all over again (which I did not). So additionally, it will allow multiple entries from the same person, on different computers. Not...very...scientific.

Romney will win.......enough Americans are truly American at heart and will not betray their country. Surely the Irish realize what patriotism means. Even in the strong Catholic days of Irish history the people put in the best man even if he were not Catholic himself. Just read what the SEALS say about their so-called Commander in Chief and how Obama betrayed their fellow soldiers.

It will depend on where you conduct this poll. If you quiz Americans of Irish descent in places like NYC or Massachussetts, chances are you'll find that it's overwhelmingly in favor of the most non-Irish man to ever occupy the White House (Barack Obama). But if you do the poll nationwide and truly broad and reflective, it will almost certainly mirror every other national poll out there, which has Mitt Romney ahead (and expanding his lead). Even National Public Radio now has Romney leading Obama (for the first time, with them), in a newly-released poll...and being extremely left-wing (sort of like the bulk at IrishCentral) -- in other words, NOT even remotely reflective of the American electorate as a whole -- that says something. So, hopefully, this will be done, with this 'Irish poll'...but knowing certain people at Irish Central, I don't exactly hold my breath. It's irrelevant, either way, though -- unless something changes rather drastically, Romney's the next President.

if they poll IC readers only that is not scientific as it does not discriminate between various groups, as GOP, DEM. church-attendees Cath and Prot. Irish resident or USA, Irish born or USA-born and so on.
